About Seattle Mending Seattle Mending events provide people with tools and guidance to repair their clothing. Local menders Ravenna Koenig and Sean Callahan will be on hand to help participants brainstorm the best way to fix damaged garments, demonstrate techniques, and share practical advice. All mending tools will be provided (needles, thread, yarn, fabric scraps, etc.), though participants are welcome to bring their own materials. All are welcome!

Using an industrial chainstitch embroidery machine from the 1930s, SCM adds names, words, and custom designs to garments—from crewneck sweatshirts and denim jackets to hats and other accessories.
