We started using upholstery fabrics in 2017 after a bulk deadstock purchase (we don’t order rayon textiles, but we will use end rolls or textiles that have been sitting around known as “deadstock”), and have made a few jackets in this textile since then. We intended to use this textile for our Fall 20 collection, but since our production had to shift due to Covid, we’ve decided to develop new pieces.
Our co-founder Davora really wanted a tracksuit in this textile after seeing it in last year’s Holiday collection, so we’ve been working on a Chenille coat and pant set. We love how it’s coming along, and in a fitting for it, Davora put the jacket on upside down by mistake and we all loved it! And you know us; we love a style that can be worn in more ways than one.
Our production manager Lisa has been so great during Covid, she creates order from chaos makes everyone smile. Like starring in this amazing photoshoot that happened when she was cutting fabric and trying on the sample to decide what size she wanted to order.
